Halo 3

Recently, while looking through the Internet for information on the Halo 3 weapons cheats, I came across a number of what-if scenarios? What if Master Chief took on different famous characters from films, comic books, and legends? Here follows a list of some of these battles and my take on the outcome.

While it is technically not a Halo 3 weapon cheat, the match-up of Master Chief versus Robocop would be interesting. According to the information on the Internet both have a few similarities. They’re both human, they’ve both been improved on, they both have amazing armour and they are both experienced fighters. Most voters predicted that Master Chief would beat Robocop, but let’s face facts here, Master Chief can be defeated with a pistol, whereas Robocop kept on going after being blown up at a fuel station. The victor has to be Robocop.

If Master Chief took on the next combatant he would do well to have a Halo 3 weapon cheat. I’m talking about MacGyver. Master Chief has a lot going for him. He is an expert with a number of weapons; he has that amazing armour; he has some marvellous vehicles at his disposal; he’s a Clint-Eastwood-type loner and he can repair himself. However, in short, MacGyver has brains. It would probably boil down to the same thing in a fight between Batman and Superman. However, if it’s a closed arena where it’s man against man, Master Chief is going to win. But put this battle in the real world with Swiss army knives and duct tape at his disposal, and MacGyver’s going to wipe the floor with our bionic friend.

OK, so far Master Chief is 2-0 down, and it’s beginning to seem like he can really use a Halo 3 weapon cheat or two. But let’s give him another opponent. This time it’s going to be Master Chief versus the Terminator. We already know Master Chief’s powers, the Terminator’s are an ability to master any weapon, relentless willpower, indefatigability, amazing focus to kill his target. It all boils down to the Spartan laser weapon. As one respondent said, if Master Chief can destroy vehicles with this weapon he can certainly blast a sizeable hole in the Terminator too.

Let’s have one more contest before Master Chief finds his Halo 3 weapon cheat. What can he do against Boba Fett from Star Wars? The only differences between Master Chief and Boba Fett are that Boba has no shields, owns his own ship and has a jet pack.

Many people believe Star Wars comes out on top in this battle, but Master Chief’s weapons are much more powerful than those owned by the bounty hunter. This one makes it two all, Master Chief goes 50-50.

So, there you have it. In this small poll that we read on the Internet, Master Chief is your average sort of super hero, who is not guaranteed to win every bout, unless he finds his weapons cheats or the story writers want him to, that is.

When Was Halo 3 Released?

On May 15, 2007 the news was published ” the Halo 3 release date would be September 25 in North America and the 26th in Europe. Halo 3 marked the third in a wildly popular series for the Xbox 360 called Halo. According to the vice president of Microsoft’s interactive entertainment business, Halo 3′s publication was more than just a video game release, it was the biggest entertainment event of the year. He may just have been right.

The full history of Halo 3 really has to start with the release of the first game in the series ‘Halo: Combat Evolved’. In November, 2001, when Halo was first published, game consoles were something of a joke as one-person shoot-em-up games. Yes, some games existed, but they didn’t have the popular communities that the PC games in the genre had.

That all changed with Halo, in which players could battle aliens on foot and in vehicles, in order to complete objectives, while trying to unravel the secret of the Halo. Halo pioneered limiting the number of weapons a player could carry to two, which in turn, meant forcing the player to take strategic decisions.

People waited for the release of Halo 3 with baited breath. They awaited the continuation of the one-person, shoot-em-up combat format that had been dominant in the two former versions of Halo. Microsoft calls it the ‘Golden Triangle of Halo’, which consists of gun-type weapons, grenades and others. In actuality, this was nothing new to one-person, shoot-em-up games, as it had existed since the very first Doom and even the predecessor to that game, Wolfenstein.

So, with all of that previous history, people were full of anticipation and excitement about the Halo 3 release date. How popular and welcome was the game? Well, before its release, 3.1 million copies were sold in advance orders and retailers thought that that was not enough.

The game took over $300 million gross in the United States in only its first week. Overall, it has sold over nine million copies worldwide and was the best-selling video game in the United States in 2007. Even the critics loved it, ranking it the seventh highest on the list of Xbox 360 all-time great games.

The Halo 3 release date, like the release date of many widely popular video games was almost like a holiday like Christmas or Easter. It leaves us with the question of what will happen in the realm of video games in the future?

Light fixtures are things that not many of us think about very often. However, the way we light a room can cause us to feel a certain way or enhance the atmosphere we want to create in that room. There are many types of light fixtures, fittings, bulbs, shades and stands to suit all areas of the home. That means both indoors and even outdoors where you might want to emphasize some special landscaping design.

Are you planning to redo a room? In this case, I know it concerns a home movie theater room, but it could be any room. I think that you should definitely consider light fixtures as one element to change. For example, you could start by changing the central, overhead incandescent bulb or tube light for sure.

My suggestion would be to install four or even six small wall-lights; these are not expensive and come in hundreds of colours and sizes to suit any pocket. The only drawback with wall lighting for your home theater, is that the wires would really have to be chased into the wall so as not to appear unsightly.

But, you could get around this by buying standard lamps. These are also available in thousands of designs, but they come with two disadvantages: trailing wires and a higher cost. They are easily moveable though. Small, table lamps is a similar alternative, but you may need more electrical sockets.

Once you’ve decided what you want, make each lamp dimmable either in unison or separately – that’s up to you. A good idea would be to keep one fairly powerful light at the DVD end of things in case the equipment needs adjusting, although it too could be on a dimmer.

The effect can be quite incredible. And all from just changing the pre-existing light fixtures and fittings. You could even increase the level of reality and have an exit sign over the door or a few romantic mood lamps higher up out of line of sight so that they are not distracting, say, a replica 1970s style lunar lamp and a fibre-optic lamp, for amusement or as a talking point while waiting for the film or snacks to be got ready.

So, whatever type of home theater lighting you are looking for, contemporary or old style traditional, you will find many options to choose from. From different colors to different sizes and styles, there are many. You can find them online or in home improvement stores. I have made a link to one of my online favourites below.

Furthermore, when you do make the changes, you will notice that your home theater has taken on an ambiance all of its own and it will “definitely|guaranteed” enhance your home theater experience. It may be these minor changes, room by room, that make you see your home in a very different light.

When it comes to choosing a screen, the first consideration is the type of screen you want or even need. If the room where you are setting up your home theater is large, then you will have to have a home theater projection screen or maybe you just want one anyway.

Personally, I like the idea of having a drop-down screen, but sometimes you have to have one anyway even in a modest-sized home movie theater. It would convert your living room into a home movie theater at the click of a remote. Imagine: you lie back in your chair; click the remote and the screen drops down; click another time and the lights dim; click another again and the movie begins!

If you prefer a television screen, then you might be considering buying a new one if you can afford it. They say that a 27 inch screen is adequate, but I do not think that it is. In my opinion, you really need 48-60 inches, but then I am a 50 something year old and my eyes are definitely not what they once were.

If you are buying a new TV for your home movie theater set-up, I think you should aim high. HDTV is already here and since February 2009 the United States is committed to High Definition. So, I would ensure that your new television is able to receive it. Then I suggest that the new home movie theater screen be a flat one in order to reduce the annoying glare that could ruin the experience, which could be another reason for opting for a drop-down projection screen.

Then you should make sure that your new TV has enough input and output sockets for the equipment you plan to use and you’re ready. Therefore, to summarize, I would go for:

More than a 27 inch screen

A flat screen

HDTV compliant

Plenty of input and output plugs

Satellite compliant

I would definitely recommend satellite compatibility for the TV receiver because it is the future or even the near future. If you get a satellite television connection you will be able to store HDTV downloads which you can watch on your new home movie theater set-up whenever you like.
